Baba Salah Cissé is a Malian musician born on March 23 , 1974in Gao .

After Koranic school then primary and secondary studies in Gao , Mopti , Nioro du Sahel and Bamako , he continued his studies at the National Institute of Arts in Bamako between 1994 and 1998.

In 1995 , he became the guitarist of the Malian singer Oumou Sangaré

In 2005 , he released his first album which won Best Revelation of the Year and Best Artist of Channel 2.
